Deadlift Day
Deadlifts on the workout schedule today … probably my most and least favorite lift
Warm-Up:
7 Minutes on Eliptical
Barbell Javorek complex: 6 reps each of 45# barbell upright row, high pull snatch, thruster, rdl, bent over row
Workout:
Deadlifts 15,15,15
Lunges 15,15,15
Close-Grip Chins amrapx3
Push Press 15,15,15
Short and sweet workout today. Deadlifts were tough as usual and worked up to 235. Used 15 lb dumbells for lunges, 95 for push press, got 7,5,5 on chins. I think the Paretto Principle that I talked about yesterday holds a lot of truth. I really hit it hard for the last two sets of each exercise, the whole workout lasted about 45 minutes, and I walked out of the gym feeling great.
